Pre Delivery requirements

When purchasing one of our hot tubs you will need to consider the following points:

  • A Flat and Level hardstanding ground for the hot tub to sit on. Level Concrete, slabs or paving is required. Manufactures suggest allowing a further 300mm all the way around the hot tub to allow for spread. Hot Tubs do not have adjustable feet.
  • Electrical requirements for the specific hot tub.
  • Access Dimensions for the specific hot tub.
  • Additional space to allow for items such as a cover lifter if purchased.

Failure to follow the requirements will result in a failed installation and may incur a redelivery charge.

Access Requirements

Access to Garden

You will be required to send access images of the route to your garden along with measurements so our delivery booking manager can check that the hot tub will be able to fit through and gates, fences etc.

PLEASE NOTE: Access images must be supplied prior to your installation date being agreed.

Points to consider: Fence removal prior to delivery, Steps to be pointed out clearly to our team, a clear 1m route from start to finish position, 2.1m height minimum allowance.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

32 Amp Electrical Supply

If the chosen hot tub is a 32amp model then it will be necessary to contact a certified electrician to arrange for the installation of the electrics.

This consists of the following:

  • Rotary isolation switch
  • 6mm armoured cable (size to be confirmed by electrician)
  • 32amp breaker to fuse box
  • Additional parts as required

The Isolator must be within 2-5meters of the hot tub and have another armoured cable connected from the isolator with at least 5 meters of cable or at least enough cable to reach the other side of the hot tub to allow our engineers to put the 3 wires into the hot tub PCB.

PLUG & PLAY Electrical Requirements

If your chosen hot tub is a PLUG & PLAY model, it is required to have a waterproof 13A socket available within 2 metres of the hot tub’s front panel. However, we recommend upgrading to a 16A commando socket for better performance and reliability. The electrical point must meet the appropriate standard to ensure safe operation.

Please note that PLUG & PLAY models do not come with a cable. You will need to purchase suitable armoured cable along with either a heavy-duty 13A plug or a 16A commando socket, depending on your chosen setup.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the electrical point is installed to the correct specification and to have the necessary cable and plug or commando socket ready on the day of delivery to allow the hot tub to be installed.

Sauna Installations

To ensure a smooth and efficient installation of your new sauna, please carefully review the following pre-delivery requirements. These must be completed prior to delivery to avoid delays or additional costs.

🔌 Electrical Requirements

The electrical setup will vary depending on the heater size installed within your sauna.

🔥 6kW – 7kW Heater Units

For saunas fitted with a 6kW to 7kW heater, the following is required:

  • A 32 Amp outdoor electrical supply
  • A rotary isolator switch, installed in an accessible location near the sauna
  • A tail end feed (cable) from the isolator to the sauna heater position
    • This must be left long enough to comfortably reach the heater
    • We strongly recommend overestimating the cable length to ensure flexibility during installation
  • A standard 13A plug socket must be installed nearby to power:
    • LED lighting
    • Control systems (if applicable)

⚠️ All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with current UK regulations.

🧱 Base Requirements

All saunas must be installed on a solid, level base.

Acceptable Base Types:

  • Concrete slab
  • Paving slabs (fully level and supported)
  • Decking (structurally reinforced and level)

Important Notes:

  • The base must be completely level across the full footprint of the sauna
  • Any uneven surface may cause:
    • Installation issues
    • Structural stress
    • Door misalignment

We strongly recommend checking levels with a spirit level prior to delivery.

📏 Access Requirements

Please ensure there is clear and adequate access to the installation area:

  • Sufficient space to safely carry all sauna components
  • No tight restrictions (narrow gates, low ceilings, sharp turns)
  • A clear, obstacle-free path from unloading point to base

If access is restricted, please inform us in advance.

⚠️ Important Information

  • Installation cannot proceed if the base or electrical requirements are not met
  • Any delays or return visits due to incomplete preparation may incur additional charges
  • If you are unsure about any requirements, please contact our team prior to delivery
